Ethical Digital Founder Named One of Top 25 Women in Tech for 2025
Saskatoon, SK – September 26, 2025 – Ethical Digital is proud to announce that its founder, Katrina German, has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Women in Tech for 2025 by Toast and BetaKit.
Selected from nearly 1,000 nominations across Canada, this award honours women whose leadership and innovation are shaping the future of technology. The winners were recognized on September 25 at The Toast Top 25 Gala in Calgary.
Katrina is a three-time tech founder and cofounder (OneStory, LightLeaf Solar, Ethical Language Management) and the visionary behind Ethical Digital, a company founded with the mission to “change the trajectory of the Internet.”
Her contributions to technology and inclusive innovation have earned her national and international recognition, including the International Women in Tech® Award (Web Summit, Lisbon), YWCA Women of Distinction Award, and Startup Canada Prairie Award for Innovation. Regularly featured on CTV Morning Live, Katrina has also signed a book deal with Forbes Books to explore how we may restore trust in digital spaces.
“This recognition is a true honour, and it underscores a global truth: technology must be built on trust. From startups to government partners, my work has always been about creating systems where people feel included, respected, and empowered. I’m thrilled to bring that message forward alongside this incredible community of leaders,” shares German.
